Hope Station provides emergency assistance in the areas of rent, mortgage, or utility payments to single, working mothers experiencing a financial crisis, yet do not qualify for government assistance because their income is too high. They also focus on educating women and their families to be financially empowered to manage life’s circumstances.
Sponsored the All-Female Women of Colour Orchestra in Nashville during the fall 2019 debut. The festival showcased various Black professional classical musicians during a week of musical performances.
Supports Metro teachers and ensures students have a learning environment stocked with the school supplies needed to achieve academic success. Schools in underserved communities are prioritized for supply bags.
Volunteer with NOAH for Voter Engagement Phone-Banking to encourage Nashville residents to reclaim our voices and our rights in democracy by voting; and Census Phone-Banking to remind Nashville residents to complete the U. S. Census forms so Nashville does not miss out on Federal funding.
